Aesthetically Pleasing iPhone Homepage #1: Before You Get Started
I know we all want to start customizing our homepages immediately, but let’s do a little prep work first.
First take a moment to organize all of your apps however it fits your personal aesthetic. You can declutter your apps by putting them in folders or moving apps to the app library.
When you move an app to the “App Library” it won’t show on your homepage, but you will be able to access it in the library.
Now, to pick out your theme or aesthetic of your iOS 14 homepage(s).

Aesthetically Pleasing iPhone Homepage #3: How To Customize App Covers
The most common question I’ve received about creating icons is where to find icons. I personally use the pro version of Canva for all of my graphics for my blog and business.
They have a ton of free icons you can use to customize your iPhone home screens. You can also find photos for your icons on Google, Pinterest, etc.
- Open Shortcuts app
- Select + button in top right corner
- Select Add Action
- Search “Open App” and select it under the “Actions” category
- Click “Choose” to select which app you’d like to add
- Click the three dots in the top right corner under “Next”
- Customize the shortcut name. This is where I typed the name of the app.
- Select “Add to Home Screen”
- Click the home screen name and icon to choose your custom icon photo
- Select “Add”
- Click “Done”
