Christmas Bars in Kansas City Review
In this Miracle Kansas City review, I will cover exactly what the Christmas pop-up bar is and whether it’s worth the additional cost this holiday season.
What Is Miracle Kansas City?
Miracle Kansas CIty is a festive Christmas themed pop-up bar that takes place at three locations in popular Kansas City areas.
At the Town Center location I was instantly welcomed with a jovial greeting and extraordinary holiday decorations. The Miracle Kansas City pop-up bar also offers food, holiday themed cocktails, and a small selection of wines and beers.
Currently, the event takes place at Town Center, The Plaza, and Power and Light. This was my first time at a pop-up bar and my first experience at Miracle Kansas City. Spoiler alert, I was not disappointed!

Here are all of the food and cocktails I tried at Miracle Kansas City
Cocktails:
- Jingle Balls Nog

Important Miracle Kansas City Info
Here are some general tips and important things to know about Miracle Kansas City:
You don’t need a reservations to attend Miracle KC.
Miracle Kansas City does accept walk ins, but you will have to wait in line. I recommend booking a reservation sooner rather than later.
The reservation is a limited time slot.
Each reservation slot is for 2 hours and 15 minutes. This means once your reservation time begins, you will have a limited time to enjoy everything Miracle KC has to offer.
Tip: Arrive to your reservation at least 15 minutes early. This will allow you. ample time take photos outside and inside with your Lovelies. Being stuck in the house most of 2020 made me realize I don’t have nearly enough photos with the people I care about.
Parking
When you arrive at the park, you will see a parking lot directly in front of the pop-up bar at the Town Center location. This is a great thing to keep in mind if you are not a fan of parking downtown (The PNL location.) before you make your reservation.
Miracle Kansas City Welcomes Large Groups
If you are a Sagittarius celebrating your birthday this year, this may be the ideal spot to host your party. Or if you’re looking for a venue for your annual White Elephant party with your work colleagues then look no further.
All large group reservations can be created on Resy as well.
Children can visit Miracle Kansas City
This Christmas pop-up bar is children friendly until 6:00 pm. If your reservation falls shortly after 6:00 don’t fret I’m almost certain there’s not an elf that will drag you and the tiny humans out.
What can I expect of the cocktails and appetizers?
I made sure to stop and take note of each item I tasted at Miracle Kansas City. My goal is to inform you best I can about specific items before you order them. My favorite small detail is that each glass matches the aesthetic of the cocktail.
Jingle Balls Nog
This cocktail is not very sweet which is perfect for people who think most eggnogs are too sweet. The texture could be described more as smooth than milky.
It is in the neighborhood of horchata in sense of how it tastes. The liquor carefully mixed in is not overpowering.
This merry cocktail goes down very smooth. One sip will makes you want to drink this Christmas morning in front of a fireplace.
Buffalo Chicken Dip
It tasted fresh yet mildly spicy. The texture of this dip is creamy and thick. The shredded chicken tasted unseasoned, but it all meshed well together. I would order this again.
Elfing Around
I personally am not a fan of the texture of seltzers so this was my least favorite option.
It’s a mix between grapefruit and spiced cider. If you are a fan of Prosecco then may be the best drink for you. The elf legs on the glass was such a cute touch and did not go unappreciated.
Naughty Shot
If you have ever attended college consider this my trigger warning. This shot tasted like Fireball but stronger. No, that was not a typo.
It is a tiny but very spicy shot that leaves you with a cinnoman after taste.
Spinach and Artichoke Dip
It tasted as if there were a garden is in the back of the Miracle Kansas City. The chips taste homemade and fresh as well. They have a nice crunch which instantly boosted my serotonin levels I’m sure.
The chips are very salty but in the best way. The dip is very flavorful and creamy. Everything was thoroughly seasoned and worth ordering again.
Christmas Carol Barrel
The cup is in a barrel. The Christmas mug also has “fa la la la” on it. The drink taste delicious and would be ordered again if given the opportunity. Need I say more?
So Is Miracle Kansas City Worth It?
Overall, in my opinion, I would say Miracle Kansas City is worth the time and money this year.
In order to really maximize your experience I would be sure to include your fun friends and your photography lovers in your reservation. When I visited they were projecting the beloved film “Elf” on the wall.
There are multiple Christmas trees and open areas to get all plenty of great holiday pictures for your memories (and feed.) Miracle Kansas City was a really unique and memorable experience. The thought of paying for a reservation initially annoyed me, but it was very nice to enjoy everything without waiting in line or being in the midst of a huge crowd.
I hope you found this Miracle Kansas City review helpful.
